BMS UPK DEFINITIONS:

UPK Developer
A specific licence user for a person who produces UPK content within you organisation. Most companies purchase 1 UPK developer licence initially and increase slowly as their training documentation department increases.

UPK User
A person within your organisation who uses the end UPK training content, produced by your UPK developer. There is no limit to the amount of training material that a UPK user can receive, however a UPK user does not have the access to change or add content to the UPK training material. Example: Specific documentation might be produced for you purchasing department of let's say 6 people within an organisation of 500 employees. Your company would purchase 1 UPK Developer licence and 6 UPK User licences. Note: UPK material can be developed against Oracle and non-Oracle applications.

UPK Employer
All of the employees within your organisation except the UPK Developers. This would be ideal for organisations that intend to train their personnel throughout the company. Example: your company produces procedures for a timesheet system with UPK training content for the whole company. Of 500 employees, in this case you would require 500 UPK Employee licences.

Oracle Support: There is an annual licence fee for each type of UPK licence, this allows you Unlimited updates to the products, Oracle support services and Metalink documentation.
